Immigration Options - Australia

How You Can Relocate to Australia

Australia has the 13th largest economy, is one of the most prosperous countries, and is among the best places to live for quality of life.

This multicultural country has a population of more than 25 million residents, 29% of whom are foreign-born.

The majority of the 160,000 foreign nationals who immigrate to Australia each year are skilled migrants and their family members, which has helped to make Australia one of the most diverse countries in the world and given it one of the strongest economies.

Thousands of foreign workers and their family members immigrate to Australia every year through the points-based General Skilled Migration (GSM) program, which has three visa sub-classes.

The three Australian visa sub-classes of the General Skilled Migration (GSM) program are:

  • Subclass-189 Skilled Independent Permanent Resident (PR) Visa – This Australian visa sub-class allows skilled immigrants and their family members to live and work in Australia in any of the states and territories;
  • Subclass-190 Skilled Nominated Permanent Resident (PR) Visa – This Australian visa sub-class allows skilled immigrants and their family members to live and work in Australia in the state or territory where they received a nomination;
  • Subclass-491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Temporary Work Visa – This temporary Australian work visa sub-class allows skilled immigrants and their family members to live and work in Australia for up to 5 years in a designated regional area, such as Adelaide, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hobart, or Perth (among other areas).

The Australian government reported in December 2019 that approximately 108,682 people will immigrate to Australia through its Skilled Migration programs in the 2019-2020 time period.

Perhaps, you and your family could be among them!
