Canadian Immigration Plan Seeks 1.2 Million Immigrants
The Canadian government announced its three-year plan which seeks to approve 1.2 million people for immigration to Canada. The Canadian Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino referred to the plan as "ambitious" since it sets a target of 401,000 new permanent residents for 2021, 411,000 additional immigrants in 2022, and 421,000 approved for immigration to Canada in 2023.
